The group's founders, self-identified as "white dudes," seek to address a perceived lack of enthusiasm among white males toward Harris's candidacy. Despite her strong credentials and policy stances, Harris has faced some resistance within this demographic.
Over 160,000 individuals attended a similar Zoom call last Thursday, demonstrating the growing momentum behind the "White Dudes for Harris" initiative. The gathering was organized shortly after President Biden announced his withdrawal from the reelection race, leaving Harris as the Democratic frontrunner.
